Sarsfield; Home built for Mary Boykin Chesnut by her husband Senator and General James Chesnut. All Chesnut properties were to be be probated to flow to and follow line of blood to a male Chesnut descendent. Senator James Chesnut removed from and used the bricks from the large Mulberry kitchen and laundry building which serviced and was located located directly behind the Mulberry Mansion, to construct the Sarsfield Mansion 50 acre estate, which was located on the east side of Camden.
